About the Role
The Property Tax Loan Originator generates new business by identifying and assisting clients with property tax obligations. This role involves responding to leads, making calls, building relationships, and guiding clients through the loan application process, requiring strong communication, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to meet sales goals in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients via phone, email, and other communication channels to explain property tax loan solutions
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and accuracy
- Assess customer needs and eligibility based on loan program criteria and regulatory requirements
- Educate customers on the property tax lending process, terms, and benefits
- Guide clients through the loan application process from initial inquiry to funding
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM and loan origination systems
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly production goals
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., underwriting, legal, servicing) to ensure a smooth loan process
- Ensure compliance with all applicable state regulations and company policies
- Stay up to date with property tax laws, loan products, and market trends
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in sales, lending, or customer service; property tax loan or real estate experience a plus
- Active NMLS certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple leads and maintain a consistent pipeline
- Familiarity with CRM tools and loan origination platforms
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-driven
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate with integrity
