About the Role

Responsible for creating, implementing, and monitoring Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) programs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety, training, and performance of all assigned employees, including contractors.
• Work closely with equipment suppliers and plant staff to ensure the successful operation of the plant.
• Monitor reliability-based systems, including preventative maintenance systems, vibration analysis, and condition monitoring.
• Participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs) for new equipment.
• Manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, thermography, etc.) to ensure optimum equipment availability.
• Analyze and eliminate repetitive problems through root cause analysis, Pareto analysis, statistical review, FMEA, and similar techniques.
• Support and guide sustainable improvements in MTBF of major equipment.
• Facilitate continuous improvement processes around equipment availability and reliability.
• Provide ongoing reports on the CBM program status.
• Gather input and facilitate task completion through others.
• Research solutions to technical problems.
• Coordinate SAP system operations in the area of preventative maintenance routine (PMR) optimization and development with maintenance planners.
• Provide technical support, training, and development for maintenance functions with a specific focus on entrenching reliability concepts within the maintenance group.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or years of equivalent experience.
• Supervisory experience in the industry.
• Experience in FFT analysis of vibration spectra on a range of heavy industrial plants.
• Experience in the practical application of FMEA, NDT inspection techniques preferred.
• Working knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, motors, starts, and VFDs preferred.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
• Employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit test.
