About the Role
Pallette Stone Corp., a member of the D.A. Collins Family of Companies, is seeking a reliable individual for a full-time permanent position as a Class B CDL Truck Driver. The D.A. Collins Family of Companies has a 75-year history of providing safety, quality, and productivity in construction.
Responsibilities
- Perform job duties while following all safety policies and procedures
- Deliver aggregates and blacktop material to customers
- Communicate with customers and internal personnel
- Navigate to customer locations
- Keep truck clean and free of debris
- Work full-time Monday – Friday with weekend work and night shifts as needed
- Willing to work out of town for extended periods of time
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class A or B CDL license
- Must be able to drive a manual shift vehicle (18-speed transmission)
- Minimum of 1-2 years CDL class driving experience
- Familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules and regulations
- Familiar with NYS DOT Rules and Regulations
- Must have a clean Motor Vehicle driver abstract
- Must have a current DOT Physical
- Must pass a Pre-Employment drug screen
- Able to complete a pre/post trip inspection of the vehicle
