About the Role

Join our small data function to help adopt modern data tools, focusing on systems integration and migrating from legacy systems to a modern data toolset. Implement pipeline, warehouse, and BI tools to enhance automation, quality control, governance, and self-service reporting. This role offers the chance to work across an entire analytics stack, collaborating with Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound request tickets for data-related questions and integrity maintenance.
• Contribute to dbt models, tests, and documentation for the data pipeline project.
• Develop BI tools and dashboards in Hex for impactful insights and automated reporting.
• Support the generation and automation of regulatory reports.
• Assist in the administration of data stack tools, including user management and governance.
• Undertake ad-hoc investigations and projects like client data migrations and data quality initiatives.
• Support the migration from legacy systems and integration with other group systems.
• Assist in developing and maintaining data quality, governance, and business confidence.
• Cultivate a client/customer-centric culture.
• Embrace change and continuously improve work processes.
• Assume ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve collective success.
• Adjust to changing requirements and priorities.

Requirements

• Solid experience with SQL and Excel.
• Experience with dbt (Cloud), BigQuery, Hex, Fivetran, Postgres, git, or equivalent tools.
• Experience delivering impactful dashboards and data tools.
• Ability to work autonomously with good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and curiosity to understand systems and problems.
• Team-player with a friendly, supportive, positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong English language skills.
• Experience with productive use of AI agents.
• Experience working in a regulated industry.
• Experience with, developing, or defining data models, schema, metrics, and semantic layers.
• Appreciation of good practices in data protection, security, and data privacy.
• Experience with Python.
