About the Role

As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a grocery retail location.
Perform armed patrol duties throughout the store, parking areas, loading areas, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
Maintain accountability for assigned equipment and firearm, following Allied Universal policies, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
