About the Role

Play a key role in ensuring that onboard processes are optimized, products are market-ready, and industrial requirements align with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives. Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, EHS, and Quality teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure part number availability and related documentation from PLM to ERP (SAP) for manufacturing and purchase orders.
  • Implement industrial Master Data in PLM, ERP (SAP), and MES.
  • Support the implementation and updates of new IT/ERP systems.
  • Act as Key User for SAP (MM) and PLM Enovia.
  • Support and train end users on tools such as Fiori, Qliksense, Orchestra, and Celonis.
  • Manage technical data for all parts involved in project execution to ensure availability in project PLM (MBOM) and ERP (SAP) with relevant properties.
  • Collect, update, and cross-check information between Project and Product teams to define and secure the exact scope of parts.
  • Perform actions in Alstom Database for BOM management to ensure part code availability in project ERP (SAP).
  • Support the deployment of SAP & GSI at Alstom site.
  • Support technical issues on site, specifically for SAP & GSI.
  • Work closely with regional and global business process experts and act as the local point of contact.
  • Deploy tools and processes in line with Alstom regional and global D&IS guidelines.
  • Launch/follow necessary actions with other project team members to enrich data in ERP (SAP) for manufacturing and purchase orders.
  • Ensure data consistency between IT systems: CLAMP, PLM, and ERP (SAP).
  • Ensure part numbers are managed through Signalling standards.
  • Ensure testing and validation of new features.
  • Support and train end-users on SAP.
  • Capture, analyze, and resolve incidents and defects.
  • Ensure the application of processes and proper use of tools.
  • Manage the impacts of engineering and process changes in the systems.
  • Set-up effectivity for the application of changes.
  • Deliver industrial files and data to suppliers on time.
  • Apply Orchestra, PLM, and ERP standard processes.
  • Support technical changes on PLM and ERP (SAP).
  • Perform UATs when needed.
  • Ensure accuracy of BOMs.
  • Manage user access for SAP, request new roles, and manage SoDs.
  • Perform document extractions from PLM Enovia and Orchestra when requested.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Operations, Industrial, or Supply Chain department, on electronics, electrical, or mechanical devices.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Key User or business user with ERP (SAP) in supply chain, industrial, and manufacturing.
  • Strong experience in data management.
  • Experience in BOM creation/update/enrichment with dedicated database/tools ERP (SAP), PLM (Enovia, Teamcenter).
  • Experience in configuration management, routings, and assembly instructions.
  • Knowledge of Engineering design, Industrialization, and Manufacturing.
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP tools (e.g., SAP) for Bill of Materials, routings, and configuration follow-up.
  • Understanding of Quality, EHS standards, and operations management.
  • Knowledge of project management, production management, and process.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Familiarity with railway industry practices and signaling products is desirable.
