About the Role
The Alternative Investment Technical Specialist associate will provide support to the firm's Financial Advisors and clients on a suite of hedge fund products to drive utilization. The Specialist will have direct coverage of advisors and third-party asset managers and will serve as an essential resource in the creation, presentation, and execution of customized proposals to UHNW and Institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships and originate new business from financial advisors and portfolio managers within BofA Merrill Wealth Management.
- Serve as subject matter expert on hedge fund products, platform, and industry to advisors, clients, and other specialists.
- Design, present, and execute custom portfolios of hedge funds for significant wealth clients.
- Deliver input on the commerciality of prospective third-party hedge fund partners to internal stakeholders, providing assessment through the lens of advisor or client demand.
Requirements
- 10-12+ years of experience in financial services or relevant experience.
- Knowledge/experience with alternative investments.
- Hold or attain Series 7 and 66 licenses within 120 days of hire.

Salary/Compensations
- $200,000.00 - $258,500.00 annualized salary
- Discretionary incentive eligible
- Eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan based on individual and company performance.
