About the Role

The Applied Solutions & Production (ASP) team is an in-house technical team within Evaluated Pricing Operations (EPO) that designs, develops, and supports tools critical to the daily fixed income pricing production process. This role is key in shaping and building the future of technology for EPO fixed income pricing, requiring a deep understanding of production processes and the ability to resolve errors in real-time. The team also supports subject matter experts in research for new pricing algorithms and AI-driven validation.

Responsibilities

Design and implement pricing tools according to business needs.
Utilize tools for generating prices, parsing data, automated QA reporting, and research.
Conduct research and development for pricing algorithms in conjunction with asset class experts.
Participate in model lifecycle maintenance adhering to best practices.
Develop junior talent through mentoring, shadowing, and code reviews.
Participate in strategic planning discussions for large projects and vendor partnerships.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in software design and support, including self QA & testing, code review, documentation, training, and operational support.
3+ years of experience in quantitative finance research and development.
3+ years of working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Fluency with Python (preferred) and other programming languages.
