About the Role

CrowdStrike's Advanced Research team is expanding to develop innovative detection capabilities that enable the company to stay ahead of adversaries and stop breaches. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions to security challenges, with opportunities for creativity, learning, mentoring, and building impactful technologies in a remote-first, high-trust environment.

Responsibilities

Work with industry-leading technologies like Kafka, Flink, Redis, ElasticSearch and Cassandra and LLMs.
Develop, maintain, and enhance the capabilities of distributed cloud services.
Keep services up and running in a healthy state.
Work closely with other internal engineering teams to integrate new capabilities into our Falcon platform.

Requirements

United States Citizenship OR Permanent Residency is necessary to retain access to resources for this role.
Computer science degree or commensurate experience.
Programming expertise in at least one language.
Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, RESTful patterns, and multithreading concepts.
Proficiency building and scaling services in production.
Hands on experience to any of the CI/CD tools and process such as Jenkins / Bamboo.
Experience interacting with major cloud provider APIs to provision cloud infrastructure, and to monitor it.
Effective communication across functions and levels throughout the company.
Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
Familiarity with AWS, Kafka, Flink, Grafana
Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong debugging skills
Hands on experience in large-scale (distributed) system architecture, high scalability and availability, and optimization
Experience working in cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
