About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Cook to join our bank staff team. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work, with shifts available to cover annual leave, staff absence, and increased demand. Being a caring heart, with a passion for making people happy, you will thrive on bringing a smile on our residents’ face, whilst supporting their physical and mental wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- Preparing menus and agree them with the residents and the manager, including any resident preferences, special diets and specific foods as needed.
- Preparing and serving all meals in a timely manner.
- Maintaining the safety and hygiene of the kitchen environment.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements on food hygiene, storage and temperature control.
- Supporting the kitchen team and liaising with colleagues from other departments.
- Operating an efficient stock control system.
