Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team focused on Specialty Generics optimization.
  • Oversee Pharmacy Service Representatives (PSRs), Benefits Verification (BV) representatives, Work-in-Progress (WIP) representatives, and technicians.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant operations.
  • Participate in the hiring process.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and direction to staff.
  • Manage team schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Responsible for staff training and development.
  • Handle problem-solving and follow-up.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance, including corrective action when necessary.
  • Collect data and prepare reports to support operational goals.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated mastery of Benefits Verification (BV) functions.
  • Ability to effectively train and mentor others.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal and external partners.
  • Working knowledge across multiple functional areas, including PSR workflows, conversion activities, and Tech and Pharmacist (RPh) support functions.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • Pharmacy Technician license or certification required, based on assigned duties and applicable state pharmacy regulations.

  • $43,888.00 - $85,068.00
