Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team focused on Specialty Generics optimization.
- Oversee Pharmacy Service Representatives (PSRs), Benefits Verification (BV) representatives, Work-in-Progress (WIP) representatives, and technicians.
- Ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Participate in the hiring process.
- Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and direction to staff.
- Manage team schedules.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible for staff training and development.
- Handle problem-solving and follow-up.
- Monitor and evaluate performance, including corrective action when necessary.
- Collect data and prepare reports to support operational goals.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mastery of Benefits Verification (BV) functions.
- Ability to effectively train and mentor others.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for internal and external partners.
- Working knowledge across multiple functional areas, including PSR workflows, conversion activities, and Tech and Pharmacist (RPh) support functions.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Pharmacy Technician license or certification required, based on assigned duties and applicable state pharmacy regulations.
