About the Role
Basketball England is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Administrator Apprentice to support the delivery of key programmes and projects across its Talent and Participation teams. This role offers a great opportunity to gain experience across multiple areas of a National Governing Body, spending approximately 50% of your time supporting the Talent team and 50% supporting the Participation team.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and planning support for Aspire Camps, the London Coaches Programme and a range of NBA-related events and activities.
- Coordinate logistics, maintain records, and communicate with participants.
- Support the successful delivery of talent development opportunities.
- Support the delivery of leagues and competitions, helping clubs and members throughout the season.
- Assist with the delivery of Slam Jam and Jr. NBA leagues and events.
- Support community participation and engagement across the game.
- Provide exposure to Basketball England's facilities and place-based investment programmes.
- Develop valuable administration, communication, project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Complete a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification.
Requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
- Current or previous participation in the London Coaches Programme.
