About the Role
The Manager, Leadership Engagement supports the implementation of initiatives that strengthen volunteer leadership engagement and build leadership pipelines across the organization. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational processes, supporting volunteer pipeline management, and leveraging Salesforce for planning and decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Support the identification and development of new volunteer leadership pipeline and engagement opportunities.
- Conduct research and prepare background information for prospective leadership opportunities and community needs.
- Triage leadership referrals and coordinate follow-up.
- Support the annual review of committee membership by maintaining data and tracking changes.
- Monitor volunteer engagement activity and identify individuals needing onboarding, offboarding, or stewardship.
- Assist in preparing leadership pipeline reports, committee summaries, and volunteer engagement materials.
- Coordinate administrative and logistical tasks with the Specialist, Leadership Development.
- Support the ongoing administration of Salesforce processes and workflows.
- Monitor Salesforce reports and dashboards to identify trends and data gaps.
- Make recommendations for Salesforce enhancements and process improvements.
- Coordinate Salesforce onboarding and training for new team members.
- Maintain process documentation and support data integrity.
- Assist with the coordination and operational delivery of leadership engagement programs and initiatives.
- Serve as LEAD's liaison with internal departments for leadership-related programs.
- Provide project management support for departmental initiatives and special projects.
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and follow-up across multiple initiatives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of LEAD processes and operational practices.
- Support other departmental priorities as required.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five or more years of relevant experience in project coordination, program management, volunteer engagement, or a related field.
- Experience working with Salesforce or another CRM platform.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret information and make practical recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in an evolving environment, prioritizing and adapting as necessary.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of the Toronto Jewish community and the nonprofit sector is considered an asset.
