About the Role
The candidate will work with multiple independent product teams, establishing and upholding standardized structures and processes. This role involves scaling processes, maintaining organizational alignment, and serving as a liaison between product teams and engineering. The ideal candidate will manage all aspects of project planning, execution, and customer satisfaction, develop schedules, run scrum ceremonies, identify and mitigate risks, and collaborate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine status and project reports to stakeholders including product management, senior management, engineering and co-workers.
- Assess the process maturity of the teams and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity.
- Lead efforts to improve process and reporting by leveraging AI tools.
- Configure Jira projects and Confluence spaces and continuously assess efficacy of structures.
- Assist in comparing processes and structures across internal teams and proposing improvements.
- Implement processes and structures to improve and support agile/scrum methodology.
- Develop, implement, and track project plans and schedules.
- Collaborate with other scrum masters and project managers to organize and lead product integration projects.
- Support cross-team initiatives to improve and standardize sprint reporting and release forecasting.
- Run projects in a variety of methodologies including Kanban, scrum, or waterfall.
- Manage all aspects of the software development lifecycle using JIRA and Confluence.
- Remain current in Project Management and agile best practices, and IT technology.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of experience as software-centric project management or as a scrum master.
- Project Management experience must include using planning, scheduling, reporting and documenting tools including Atlassian software.
- Experience leveraging agentic AI for project management processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies.
- Capable of leading and successfully working with individuals from different disciplines and experience levels.
