About the Role

Grisebach is a leading German auction house for 20th and 21st-century art. You will manage the digital auction process, from object entry to coordination with international art platforms. This role involves auction administration, digital editing, and conceptual development of our auction system, offering variety and the chance to shape digital processes.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the AIS auction system, including user management, auction configuration, and controlling automated workflows.
• Ensure all auction objects are online throughout the auction phase.
• Utilize the Toolbox / GAP auction platform for timed and live auctions.
• Manage accounts and access rights for employees.
• Publish catalogs and results on the company website and international art platforms.
• Import image data and reconcile print data in coordination with the image editorial team.
• Maintain the Grisebach website using the Statamic CMS.
• Organize, create, and send newsletters using MailChimp.
• Conceptually define and prioritize new requirements and features for AIS.
• Act as a technical interface, collaborating closely with development teams.
• Test new features and support go-live processes.

Requirements

• Experience in managing a content management, editorial, or ERP system.
• Process-oriented thinking with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Meticulousness under time pressure.
• Very good written and spoken German.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Experience with Statamic, MailChimp, or comparable systems is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with development teams, including formulating requirements, testing, and supporting releases, is a plus.
• Basic understanding of image and print data, e.g., from Photoshop, is a plus.
• Interest in art or the art market is desirable.
