About the Role
As a Finance Intern at Kids in the Game, you will support various finance and accounting activities, gaining practical experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. We seek a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and present the gross margin of business segments monthly, providing recommendations for efficiency and economies of scale.
- Report on the finance department's KPIs monthly and assist in analyzing budget versus actual performance for revenue, costs, and operating expenses.
- Review weekly Accounts Receivable Aging Reports and assist in managing the invoicing process.
- Support daily Accounts Payable management, including vendor payments and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Build and analyze pricing models for school programs, conducting scenario-based gross margin analysis.
- Analyze the company's historical and current school portfolio, forecasting the financial impact of growth and new customers.
- Collaborate with other departments, leading meetings to report and evaluate monthly gross margins for each program.
Requirements
- Recent graduate or current master's student seeking experience in organizational finance.
- Experienced in data analytics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work cross-departmentally in a fast-paced environment.
