About the Role
Kids in the Game is seeking an Operations Intern with strong planning and organization skills to support the Operations team. This role involves both fieldwork managing equipment and office-based research and planning, ensuring program sites have necessary materials. The intern will contribute to a supportive, safe, and fun environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Use EZ Office Inventory Management System to input and organize asset stocks
- Assist with Department of Health compliance documentation for School Aged Child Care licensed schools
- Organize and create site binders for school year programs
- Organize, pack, and distribute equipment during school year and summer camp transitions
- Complete research projects on IT services and cybersecurity
Requirements
- Must be detail-oriented and have a strong sense of organization
- Must be willing and able to travel throughout NYC (Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn) with equipment
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs over your head
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Communicates clearly and concisely with strong oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to multitask
