About the Role

AECOM is seeking Senior Landscape Architects to join and support the growth of our Landscape Architecture team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver transformative projects, and contribute to AECOM’s reputation for technical excellence. Responsibilities

Develop the delivery of landscape design and planning projects.
Undertake site survey and analysis, using innovative processes.
Contribute to meetings and workshops, representing AECOM’s technical excellence.
Assist leads with project management, including financial and programme responsibilities.
Share knowledge and support culture of continuous growth and development.
Mentor and develop junior staff, including as a professional mentor.
Assist with development of strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and collaborators.
Facilitate proactive client engagement and business development.
Produce and/or oversee the production of reports, drawings, and other technical documentation with the necessary level of detail for the various stages of development, using appropriate software.
Prepare and develop designs through all stages of development from initial feasibility through to production of construction information.
Support and undertake contract administration (e.g., JCLI) to ensure high-quality project delivery.
Work iteratively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive and integrated solutions.

Requirements

Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
Experience of preparing LVIAs and TVIAs and evidence-base documents in accordance with best practice.
Experience of designing public realm schemes and complex multi-disciplinary projects.
Knowledge and understanding of the UK planning system.
Knowledge of project management, including financial control, reporting, and programme management.
Full UK driving licence required to get to remote sites.
All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.

Skills

Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Revit and/or Civil 3D is highly desirable.
Skilled in preparing clear graphics, technical reports, and construction documentation.
Strong communication skills, including fluency in written and spoken English.
