About the Role

The Manufacturing Technician I provides hands-on support and guidance to production staff within assigned manufacturing cells, potentially assisting engineering in developing and implementing manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-cell technical support, guidance, and training for manufacturing processes to resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Serve as a resource to confirm worker compliance with established procedures and work instructions.
  • Verify and implement manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
  • Integrate with manufacturing and quality personnel to proactively identify situations that may negatively impact product quality.
  • Circulate within assigned areas and observe production.
  • Monitor and verify equipment functionality.
  • Actively participate in equipment installation and qualification.
  • Be approachable and encourage questions.
  • Relay matters of concern to appropriate engineering staff.
  • Participate in resolving issues and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Follow disciplined product/process development and change control methods.
  • Keep team members and leaders updated on work status and issues.
  • Assist with projects managed by Engineering.
  • Report to mentors and managers regularly.
  • Function as an effective team member through collaboration and respectful interactions.
  • Work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience.
  • Clear, organized, and professional written and oral communication.
  • Ability to operate virtual meeting platforms.
  • High degree of energy and drive.
  • Provide own transportation for local/day travel, including travel between facilities.
