About the Role
Heritage Auctions is seeking seasonal assistance for weekday, evening, and weekend exhibitions and special events. This role combines customer service and security to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate has an interest in Collectibles, Jewelry, Fine and Decorative Art and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the safety and security of clients and auction items
- Assist clients with examining items during exhibitions and special events while following security protocols
- Assistance with setup and packing of exhibitions and special events
- Occasional support various departments with administrative tasks
- Ability to stand for periods of time between breaks
- Available to work weekends and evenings as necessary
Requirements
- Professional, polished demeanor - Business attire required for exhibitions and special events
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential client and business information
- Committed, reliable and capable of working well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and ability to accurately follow detailed instructions
- A genuine passion for Collectibles, Jewelry, Fine and Decorative Art in the auction industry
- Individuals must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- During peak periods, there may be mandatory overtime, such as working extended hours, nights, and weekends
- This position may require overnight travel based on business needs
