About the Role

You'll own Quote—the strategy, the roadmap, the tradeoffs, and the outcome. Quote starts as a tool that strips friction from rep workflows and modernizes how SMB prices and goes to market. Over time, it becomes the data foundation that powers agentic workflows across the TELUS enterprise. You sit at the center of the SMB AI Transformation Team, a high-speed innovation unit that moves in two-week sprints with product builders, data scientists, engineers, and AI specialists. Your job is to define what Quote becomes across all three horizons—near-term rep productivity, mid-term GTM modernization, and the long-term data platform that changes how we operate—and hold that vision while delivery, Sales, and Product pull in different directions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and vision across three horizons: near-term rep productivity, mid-term GTM modernization, and the long-term data foundation for agentic workflows
  • Define the roadmap, make scoping and tradeoff decisions, and resolve competing mandates (Sales vs. Product, revenue vs. process, near-term vs. foundational) with evidence and clarity
  • Build crisp PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria alongside the Vibe Coder; prioritize ruthlessly and move at prototype speed
  • Validate that features solve real rep pain and move the business metric; own the definition of "working" and catch misses before they ship
  • Partner with B2B AI on delivery and resourcing, the Senior Strategy Manager on GTM execution and adoption, and the Senior Technical PM on SAiL platform unification to ensure Quote scales as part of the ecosystem, not in isolation
  • Scale Quote across the TELUS enterprise by integrating it into adjacent tools, standing up enterprise-grade support and incident management, and ensuring it holds up at scale
  • Drive adoption and utilization by designing the rollout, recruiting early adopters, closing the feedback loop, and owning real usage metrics
  • Measure what matters: rep impact (time to quote, quality, win rate), business impact (pricing consistency, revenue contribution), and product health (adoption, support performance)

Requirements

  • 5+ years owning products or meaningful product surfaces end-to-end, including strategy you set, not just roadmaps you executed. You've taken a product from a fuzzy idea to defined bet to real adoption and scaled its scope as it grew
  • Deep, credible expertise in pricing and quoting—how pricing structures, discounting, approvals, and quote construction actually work, and why they're hard to change. You can design a product around pricing constraints and represent the sales and GTM perspective with authority
  • Proven track record owning decisions and tradeoffs, not just recommendations. You've made a prioritization call a louder stakeholder disagreed with, held the line with evidence, and owned the result
  • Direct experience driving adoption and utilization with frontline users (sales reps, support teams, or equivalent). You've cared about whether the product holds up at scale: support, incidents, reliability. A launch is the start of your job, not the end
  • Ability to hold multiple mandates and decide between them. You have concrete examples of balancing competing goals—revenue vs. process, near-term vs. foundational—and driving each to a clear decision rather than splitting the difference
  • Fluency with platforms and data architecture, not just features. You've built or shaped products that create reusable data assets and understand structured data, APIs, and emerging patterns like MCP and agentic workflows well enough to own a vision that depends on them
  • Exceptional communication and influence without authority. Your PRDs, decision logs, and roadmaps are clear enough that teams build straight from them and executives trust them. You influence peers across Product, Sales, and GTM and command respect through clarity and credibility
  • Comfort working in ambiguity early and imposing rigor as the stakes grow. You know how to run fast in discovery and prototype mode, then tighten process as the product matters more.

Skills

  • B2B, SMB, or telecom pricing and sales-motion experience
  • Hands-on experience with CPQ, deal desk, or proposal tooling
  • Experience building products for sales reps as end users
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI, LLM-based products, agentic workflows, and MCP; you design with the grain of what these tools can and can't do
  • Experience with rapid prototyping and platform integration in an enterprise tool ecosystem

Experience Level

  • 5+ years owning products or meaningful product surfaces end-to-end
