About the Role

The Deals AI Forward Deployed Engineer is a hands-on technologist embedded within PwC's Deals practice, responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-driven solutions to transform the transaction lifecycle and create post-deal value for clients.

Responsibilities

• Partner with deal professionals and sprint teams to identify opportunities for AI value creation.
• Architect and deliver bespoke AI solutions using large language models, agentic AI frameworks, and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Iterate on prototypes and ship working solutions within tight deal timescales.
• Surface recurring patterns, workflows, and failure modes to inform the Deals AI product roadmap and platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Possess deep technical curiosity and breadth of AI experience, including large language models, agentic frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation, and modern orchestration patterns.
• Have a strong software engineering foundation to lead the design and delivery of AI solutions.
• Take ownership of client engagements end-to-end, leading teams to architect and deploy AI-driven solutions.
• Actively coach and develop team members, build high-performing teams, and manage performance constructively.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by translating AI capabilities into client propositions.
• Embrace technology and innovation, championing the adoption of cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
• Bring collaborative, adaptable problem-solving skills to fast-paced, evolving deal environments.
