About the Role
As a New Business Associate (NBA), you will play a critical role in fuelling the growth of Plaid in the UK and EU by generating high-quality pipeline. You will partner closely with Account Executives to run outreach campaigns, design strategies for account engagement, and open doors to some of the most exciting fintechs in the region. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with high standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive high-quality meetings that convert into qualified opportunities
- Conduct account research and develop strategic outreach cadences
- Collaborate with AEs to build and execute account plans
- Manage pipeline progress through Salesforce and internal tooling
- Support the go-to-market strategy for UK and EU prospects
- Contribute to the development of outbound campaigns in partnership with Marketing
- Participate in team initiatives including onboarding new hires and operational projects
- Nurture early-stage and dormant opportunities to drive incremental pipeline
Requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly
- Demonstrated drive, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Some experience in a client-facing or commercial role (sales, CS, partnerships, consulting, or equivalent)
- Comfort working in a high-ownership, high-expectation environment
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from peers
- Curiosity about fintech, APIs, and financial infrastructure
