About the Role
JPW Companies is seeking a hardworking individual to join our structural steel fabrication shop team. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Load structural steel onto flatbed trailers
- Operate a 10-ton overhead crane
- Climb on and off high flatbed trailers daily
- Cut and carry 4x4x8 lumber
- Scan and track steel pieces while loading
- Work safely in a fast-paced shop environment
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding work
- Overhead crane experience preferred
- Comfortable working at heights on trailers
- Experience using scanners/technology for tracking materials
- NYS CDL-A license a plus
