About the Role
Collaborate with small development teams to drive business growth within PRH, operating within a dynamic and agile development environment. Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications as part of ongoing platform evolution. Build, test, deploy, and iterate on existing and new technology products serving internal and external users.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of modern web applications.
- Build, test, deploy, and iterate on existing and new technology products.
- Leverage technical skills in front-end, backend development, cloud services (e.g., AWS), and DevOps practices.
- Support legacy systems and transition them to modern architectures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Apply creative problem-solving and sound judgment in a fast-paced development environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-time professional software development experience.
- Experience with backend development in Java or Python.
- Familiarity with SQL and database fundamentals.
- Strong grasp of modern web standards, accessibility, and security best practices.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and frameworks.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as React/JavaScript.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to research/plan/implement features or fix bugs is a plus.
