About the Role
As an Engineer Surveyor, you will serve as the 'Face of Zurich' for our client base, managing your own diary to conduct statutory inspections. This field-based role involves providing expert opinions on equipment to ensure legislative compliance while developing mechanical engineering skills within a market-leading inspection provider.
Responsibilities
- Carry out hands-on statutory inspections
- Provide expert opinions on a wide range of equipment
- Ensure client compliance with relevant legislation and standards
- Report inspection findings using a rugged laptop
- Issue electronic reports to clients
- Manage own diary and client area
- Work paid overtime as required
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification
- Time served or Modern Apprenticeship
- Hands-on experience in a relevant engineering discipline
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Ability to make sound engineering judgements
- Strong IT skills and high levels of literacy
- Excellent communication skills
