About the Role

The New Business Manager will coordinate business development activity, implement new business strategy, identify new clients, design prospecting campaigns, and collaborate on sales collateral, case studies, and events. This role suits a curious, proactive individual who enjoys building relationships and working across UK offices and practice areas.

Responsibilities

  • Research industries and companies to identify new client prospects.
  • Prepare and collate materials for target client lists.
  • Work with the design team on new prospecting campaigns.
  • Support agency pitch teams by coordinating activity across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Support the creation of pitch content, including credentials, RFIs, tenders, and pitch presentations.
  • Build an understanding of agency capabilities, client work, and strategic thinking to develop case studies and showcase best work.
  • Write clear and engaging copy for credentials, case studies, pitch materials, and prospecting campaigns.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to uncover interesting work and client success stories.
  • Support the management of the sales pipeline and lead tracking in Salesforce.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities.
  • Support the marketing team with event planning and execution for prospective clients.

Requirements

  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write engaging copy for presentations, case studies, and client-facing materials.
  • Interest in branding, marketing, and strategy, with the ability to understand client challenges and translate them into compelling stories.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership, using initiative and looking for opportunities to add value.
  • Confident building relationships and working with stakeholders across different teams and levels of the business.
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical thinker with an interest in understanding markets, brands, and business opportunities.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in Business Development, Marketing, Communications, or Account Management within a creative, integrated, digital, or media agency is desirable, but not essential.
