About the Role
Always Compassionate Health is seeking dedicated Home Health Aides and Personal Care Assistants to provide compassionate care to clients throughout Westchester County and New York City.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Support activities of daily living as outlined in the care plan
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home
- Accompany clients to appointments or on walks
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities
Requirements
- NY State HHA or PCA certification
- Passion for caring for adult, elderly, or pediatric clients
- Strong communication skills
- English proficiency
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Physical, Quantiferon or 2 PPDs within one year and MMR titers
