About the Role

The Installer Service Specialist is a technical parts expert responsible for servicing professional customers at the installer counter and managing daily delivery operations to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales relationships with professional customers and installers.
• Process customer orders via phone and online.
• Invoice orders and coordinate the picking and staging of parts for delivery.
• Route delivery specialists to ensure consistent and timely service.
• Maintain delivery vehicles according to company standards.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and log mileage in fleet management devices.
• Collaborate with Sales Specialists and Territory Sales Managers to provide superior customer service.
• Verify all merchandise, including warranty parts and cores, is billed prior to customer departure.
• Manage the timely pickup and crediting of customer core and warranty returns.
• Audit customer returns for warranty abuse and ensure correct labeling.
• Assist at the front and retail counters as needed.
• Support backroom operations including auto-load, returns, and stocking.
• Process customer labor claims efficiently.

Requirements

• Strong background in mechanics.
• Above average communication skills.

Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of automotive repairs.
• ASE Certification.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish highly desired).
