About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with customers to establish and design new standard approaches for access management, modernizing access strategies to align with market trends and Zero-Trust principles. You will match customer business requirements to the Idira Identity Security Platform, articulating technical and product positioning to both business and technical users. This role combines technical knowledge with sales skills to ensure technical wins during the sales cycle, driving technology evaluation and identifying technical issues for customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Provide technical pre-sales support, including solution demonstrations and architecture reviews.
Offer guidance on best practices and trends in Identity Security.
Establish new standard approaches and practices for deploying Idira’s Identity Security Platform.
Create tailored solutions and re-design access concepts to strategically consult customers through their digital transformation.
Lead technical customer proof-of-concepts (POCs).
Proactively seek new sales opportunities by developing relationships within the existing customer base.
Support Idira and partner seminars and industry trade shows.
Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
Develop technical knowledge of Idira and associated technologies/integrations.
Mentor other solutions engineers when appropriate.

Requirements

5+ years of presales and/or professional service experience in a high-tech sales environment with a demonstrated track record of success.
High knowledge with Cloud solutions (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), especially with CSPs (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Strong experience with Cloud Security, Cloud Architecture and Directory Services (AD, EntraID).
Relevant experience with enterprise applications, security management, systems management, identity management, and/or policy management solutions is preferred, especially in the IAM, PAM and IGA space.
An understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organizations that meet functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.
Strong analytical skills for assessing client needs and designing effective solutions.
Ability to travel up to 30% within assigned territory and other locations.
MIS/Computer Science/IT/Cybersecurity Degree or equivalent experience.
