About the Role

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various warehouse tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facility. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse space, and ensuring a safe work environment. As a team player, the Warehouse Associate will collaborate with all departments to meet company goals and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily warehouse tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and quality assurance of products and materials.
• Inspect incoming products for defects and damages.
• Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items in the appropriate areas.
• Organize warehouse space to optimize efficiency while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and security.
• Check, verify, and fill job orders per material list.
• Stage window units for install teams.
• Tag and label material and units to be staged.
• Earn and Maintain PIT Certification to safely operate a forklift as needed.

Requirements

• 2 years or less of verifiable experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Must pass and maintain a valid DOT medical examination/physical.
• A valid driver’s license, preferred.
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
• Experience handling full life cycle flow of home improvement product installation/service highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.
• Obtain and maintain PIT certification.
