About the Role
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various warehouse tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our facility. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing warehouse space, and ensuring a safe work environment. As a team player, the Warehouse Associate will collaborate with all departments to meet company goals and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily warehouse tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and quality assurance of products and materials.
- Inspect incoming products for defects and damages.
- Receive, unload, and place incoming inventory items in the appropriate areas.
- Organize warehouse space to optimize efficiency while ensuring safety, cleanliness, and security.
- Check, verify, and fill job orders per material list.
- Stage window units for install teams.
- Tag and label material and units to be staged.
- Earn and Maintain PIT Certification to safely operate a forklift as needed.
Requirements
- 2 years or less of verifiable experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Must pass and maintain a valid DOT medical examination/physical.
- A valid driver’s license, preferred.
- Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations.
- Experience handling full life cycle flow of home improvement product installation/service highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
- Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons.
- Obtain and maintain PIT certification.
