About the Role

The Senior Product Designer will design, prototype, and launch CivGov and Commercial Solutions, defining how users interact with and derive insights from satellite Earth Observation data. This role bridges platform capabilities with customer outcomes by defining user profiles, establishing jobs-to-be-done, and creating end-to-end user flows for high-value market opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Drive the end-to-end design process from discovery and user research to prototyping and high-fidelity execution.
• Lead user research and prototype testing to validate high-value use cases.
• Define clear objectives based on user discovery to drive meaningful outcomes.
• Architect intuitive interfaces that translate complex geospatial data into actionable insights.
• Establish reusable interaction patterns and components for solutions.
• Partner with product and engineering to ensure design quality and align on ambiguous problem spaces.
• Contribute to building and elevating the company design culture.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience designing complex SaaS or B2B products.
• Bachelor’s degree in design or an equivalent field.
• Proven experience taking projects from early ideation to live software.
• Portfolio displaying complex professional projects, design process, and impact.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Track record of designing data-heavy applications, ideally with AI or geospatial data visualization.
• Proficiency in Figma and enterprise design systems.
• Ability to work quickly in undefined and ambiguous environments.
