About the Role

Optum NY/NJ is seeking a dedicated, patient-centric Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician to join our team in Mount Kisco, NY. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you’ll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone. Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive women’s health services through office services, deliveries, and inpatient/outpatient surgical procedures.
  • Engage in a full scope GYN practice with major and minor procedures, including minimally invasive surgeries with robotics.
  • Collaborate with Gynecology and NICU physicians.
  • Provide consultation, co-management, and care for patients with high-risk pregnancies.
  • Perform and interpret advanced obstetric ultrasounds, including fetal anatomy surveys, growth assessments, biophysical profiles, and Doppler studies.
  • Evaluate and manage complex maternal medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, autoimmune disorders, and multiple gestations.
  • Diagnose and manage fetal anomalies and congenital conditions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide prenatal genetic counseling and discuss diagnostic and screening options with patients and families.
  • Perform prenatal diagnostic procedures, including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), as appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians, neonatologists, genetic counselors, pediatric specialists, and primary care providers.
  • Develop individualized pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum care plans.
  • Utilize advanced imaging and diagnostic resources within a state-of-the-art clinical environment.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process.
  • Board Certification or board eligibility in OB/GYN.
  • Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
