Performs project and general cleaning of various areas, including entryways, corridors, stairwells, and public spaces. Transports trash, linens, and supplies as needed. Adheres to professional standards, departmental procedures, and safety precautions.
Responsibilities
- Performs project and general cleaning of entryways, corridors, stairwells, public areas, and other assigned patient/resident and non-patient/non-resident areas.
- Transports trash, linens, and supplies to and from assigned areas.
- Observes professional standards, department and organizational procedures, and safety precautions.
- Operates floor machines and carpet equipment (must be 18 years old).
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old to operate floor machines and carpet equipment.
- Previous hospital housekeeping experience.
- Prior experience refinishing and burnishing hard surface floors and utilizing related housekeeping equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.

Experience Level
