About the Role
Support the Sales Manager on the Wholesale team in a designated area of the business, handling daily administrative tasks, order processing, customer communication, and market preparation.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance to the Sales Manager on all wholesale administrative tasks.
- Organize and enter seasonal orders into the ERP system and send order confirmations.
- Extract purchase orders from customer portals and enter them into the ERP system.
- Serve as the main point of contact for seasonal product templates, UPC uploads, and product copy.
- Track and communicate all updates to the Sales Manager and customers, and approve orders in the ERP system.
- Maintain master files for the wholesale department, including customer contact details, payment terms, and distribution matrix.
- Prepare and communicate product knowledge information to customers each season and manage the calendar for product knowledge clinics.
- Assist in seasonal market preparation, including data, customer appointment management, and showroom/tradeshow setup.
- Support the VEJA team and engage with prospective customers at tradeshows.
Requirements
- Commitment to the VEJA Project and vision; passionate about fair-trade brands.
- Ability to speak confidently about the VEJA Project both internally and externally.
- Beginner to Intermediate experience with Retail Math, Microsoft Excel, V-lookups, and pivot tables.
- Ability to work autonomously once assignments and directions are instructed.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
- Maintain a positive attitude while moving between changing priorities.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills; attention to detail is crucial.
- Work efficiently and effectively with both in-office and remote team members.
- Willingness to travel for work.
