About the Role
The Manager/Senior Manager, EPC Procurement executes EPC contracting across wind, solar, and BESS portfolios. This role manages end-to-end procurement, from market engagement and RFP development to commercial negotiations and contract administration, ensuring risk mitigation and alignment across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Procurement in implementing sourcing strategies for wind EPC projects.
- Orchestrate competitive RFx bidding and contracting efforts.
- Conduct EPC bid reviews and contractor performance assessments.
- Oversee bid levelization to evaluate cost drivers and baseline variances.
- Lead commercial negotiations while mitigating cost and schedule risks.
- Ensure alignment across major project agreements including TSA, Service Maintenance, PPA, and EPC agreements.
- Review scope of supply and work to identify gaps and establish clear interfaces.
- Strengthen strategic relationships with EPC partners and drive progress toward MOUs.
- Analyze market intelligence on emerging trends, tariffs, and policy changes.
- Manage bidding strategies and bidder qualification processes.
- Coordinate with Engineering to maintain project specifications and standards.
- Support project financing by coordinating inputs for independent engineering reviews.
- Develop and implement continuous process improvements for contract policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, procurement, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
- Manager: 3-5 years of relevant EPC contracting/negotiation experience and 2+ years of management experience.
- Senior Manager: 6-8+ years of relevant experience and 4+ years of management experience.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
