About the Role
James Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Oil Lube Technician to perform oil changes, filter and lube services, and basic maintenance on customer vehicles. This role is crucial for maintaining the quality of customer service and requires a skilled individual to lead the team.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil, filter and lube-related services for customers
- Diagnose and recommend services as needed to customers
- Ensure accurate completion of any paperwork related to customer services
- Follow safety and environmental regulations
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment according to safety protocols
- Fill engine oil tanks with the right grade of oil
- Inspect parts and vehicles for any signs of damage or defect
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as an oil lube technician, or related experience in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of motor vehicle systems and operation
- Ability to drive/change oil quickly and efficiently
- Solid understanding of customer service principles
- Hand-eye coordination and physical stamina
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
