About the Role

Stockroom picker and material handler performing electronic computer transactions using handheld scanners and computer terminals. Fulfilling put-away and replenishment orders, operating lift equipment such as a sit down/standup forklift and a stand on walkie-rider.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic computer transactions using handheld scanners and computer terminals
  • Fulfill put-away and replenishment orders
  • Operate lift equipment including sit down/standup forklifts and stand-on walkie-riders
  • Complete all company training courses and operate equipment required for this position
  • Perform other duties, as assigned

Requirements

  • Experience in warehouse receiving, put-away and picking within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Skills

  • Ability to operate very narrow aisle lift equipment is a plus
  • Ability to speak, understand read and write English
  • Good written and oral skills, detailed and results oriented
  • Ability to navigate within the company computer systems, familiar with bill of material structuring basics
  • Capable of operating hand held scanners performing picking and processing transactions
  • Capable of operating material handling equipment
