About the Role
As a Software Engineering Manager, you will guide a team of engineers, contribute to product strategy, and manage project goals. You will optimize code and ensure engineers can optimize theirs, leading projects across various technical domains like AI, NLP, and large-scale system design.
Responsibilities
- Set and communicate team priorities aligned with organizational goals.
- Align strategy, processes, and decision-making across teams.
- Set clear individual expectations based on role and organizational goals.
- Conduct regular performance and development discussions, providing feedback and coaching.
- Develop mid-term technical goals and roadmaps for your teams.
- Evolve roadmaps to meet future requirements and infrastructure needs.
- Design, guide, and vet systems designs within the broader area.
- Write product or system development code to solve ambiguous problems.
- Review code from other engineers, providing feedback on best practices.
- Ensure adherence to style guidelines, code checking, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
Requirements
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 3 years of experience with full stack development (back-end: Java, Python, Golang, C++; front-end: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.

- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
