About the Role

Genesee Brewery is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support brewing, packaging, utilities, and facility operations. This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining automated production equipment, motors, controls, instrumentation, and electrical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. We are looking for an experienced industrial electrician who enjoys problem-solving and keeping critical production equipment operating safely and reliably.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical and control systems
Work safely on AC and DC circuits, including single-phase and three-phase systems
Diagnose electrical and automation-related equipment failures and identify root causes
Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, relays, sensors, safety circuits, and variable-frequency drives
Install, remove, repair, and adjust electrical and pneumatic instruments and actuators
Install and maintain wiring and cabling for production equipment, control systems, computers, and communications equipment
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams
Coordinate with engineers, controls technicians, mechanics, and production employees
Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Follow electrical safety requirements, including lockout/tagout and applicable electrical codes
Contribute to a respectful, diverse, and inclusive workplace
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

At least two years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and control systems
Ability to troubleshoot relay-based controls, motors, sensors, and safety circuits
Experience troubleshooting and replacing variable-frequency drives
Ability to read electrical schematics and use electrical testing equipment safely
High school diploma or equivalent
An associate degree, electrical apprenticeship, trade-school education, or equivalent technical training is preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and relevant industrial experience will be considered
