About the Role
This role involves learning and participating in all aspects of the fire sprinkler trade, with a primary focus on material delivery and logistics. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate handling of materials, performing essential tasks like flow tests, and supporting team members to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver material to job sites.
- Pick up material from warehouses and deliver to shop or job site.
- Check in material and maintain pick tickets.
- Perform flow tests for design.
- Deliver equipment to jobsites.
- Assist other teammates as directed by PM or Superintendents.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Prioritize safety by ensuring timely submittal of JSAs, Toolbox Talks, and Audit Forms.
- Ensure timely and accurate Incident and Accident Reporting.
- Hold yourself accountable for all Safety Initiatives.

- Ensure awareness and support of Stop Work Authority.
- Complete all training requirements, including safety and certifications.
- Submit accurate timesheets, including job numbers/names, OT and travel pay, completed on time.
- Ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, professional, and have required signatures.
- Manage inventory by reviewing, updating, and approving packing slips.
- Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment, including trucks, lifts, and tools.
- Keep jobsites clean and organized.
- Ensure production efficiency by monitoring budget vs. actual labor hours and communicating with the superintendent.
- Support and ensure adherence to company SOPs, including Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
- Demonstrate timeliness in job arrival, attendance, communication with supervisors, and paperwork.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and respond to feedback for improvement.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively and professionally within the department and with internal and external customers.
- Maintain positive interactions within your team and local office.
- Actively participate in required team meetings.
- Ability to work overtime, out of town, or on-call as needed.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Understand and follow basic safety procedures.
- Helper or construction experience is a plus.
- Warehouse role experience, organizing parts and material.
- Standing and walking for most of the shift.
- Working in heights to organize high shelving.
- Lifting up to 50lbs.
- Use of warehouse machinery on a daily basis.
- Able to bend, reach, and kneel with ease.
