About the Role

This role leads the operational banquet team to deliver successful events, maintaining the reputation of event delivery at Marriott Grosvenor Square, London. It ensures the highest level of service during events, executes event requirements based on standards and customer expectations, drives customer satisfaction, and capitalizes on revenue during the event phase. The role provides clear communication to all stakeholders and monitors financial and administrative responsibilities to meet or exceed department goals.

Responsibilities

Leads the operational banquet team to deliver successful events.
Ensures the highest level of service during events.
Executes event requirements based on standards and customer expectations.
Drives customer satisfaction and capitalizes on revenue during the event phase.
Provides clear and concise communications to everyone having ownership in the success of the event.
Monitors and controls financial and administrative responsibilities to meet or exceed department goals.
Oversees financial and administrative functions, including cost control and asset protection.
Ensures smooth operational execution.
Communicates clearly and effectively with all stakeholders to ensure shared ownership of event success.
Proactively identifies training and development opportunities.
Implements strategic plans to build team capability and consistently achieve performance goals.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
2 years experience in the event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
Eligible to work in the UK
