About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Automotive Lot Attendant to join our dealership team at DePaula Chevrolet. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate is responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining the dealership’s vehicle inventory and ensuring a safe, organized lot.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the organization and appearance of the dealership lot.
- Safely move, park, and retrieve new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Verify vehicle identification (VIN/serial numbers) and ensure inventory records are accurate.
- Maintain proper parking lot flow for customers and dealership operations.
- Inspect vehicles for damage and report any issues promptly.
- Keep vehicle keys organized and follow dealership key control procedures.
- Assist with vehicle transfers and other dealership support duties as assigned.
- Operate all vehicles safely and in accordance with dealership policies.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
