About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic supply chain team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth warehouse operations and efficient material flow, working collaboratively to manage inventory, coordinate material movements, and support operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound materials from and to suppliers with precision and attention to detail.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and the Kanban system to pick and feed materials from the warehouse to the production line.
- Monitor and oversee inventory levels in the production line's supermarket area to ensure smooth and uninterrupted material flow.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate, organized inventory records using appropriate documentation tools.
- Proactively identify and prevent material shortages through vigilant inventory monitoring and timely coordination with relevant teams.
- Collaborate closely with the purchasing and production teams to manage inventory levels, prevent stockouts, and ensure timely material supply.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse operations, material handling processes, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety protocols, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements within the warehouse environment.
- Demonstrate resilience and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and adapt to changing priorities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or associate degree.
- Up to 2 years of experience in warehouse, material handling, or logistics roles.
- Valid driver's license.
- Forklift operation certification or experience.
- Experience with ERP systems or warehouse management software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic documentation tools.
- Prior experience in material management within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move materials regularly.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and compliance requirements.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining quality standards.
