About the Role

Support Sungrow's regulatory and compliance activities across Europe, ensuring compliance with evolving national and European regulatory requirements and supporting the implementation of regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assess new and existing national and European legislation impacting Sungrow's business.
  • Support the implementation of regulatory requirements across business functions by coordinating with internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct regulatory research and prepare practical compliance guidance, regulatory summaries and implementation recommendations.
  • Support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of regulatory compliance frameworks, internal procedures and governance documentation.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel, industry associations and regulatory advisors.
  • Prepare internal regulatory updates, compliance reports and management briefings.
  • Support cross-functional regulatory projects and ensure timely implementation of new legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Maintain regulatory trackers, implementation records and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to strengthening Sungrow's compliance culture by providing regulatory support and awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, European Law, Public Policy, Political Science, or another relevant discipline.
  • Experience in Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Legal, Public Affairs or a related function is considered an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of European and national regulatory frameworks affecting international businesses.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to translate legal requirements into practical business guidance.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple regulatory topics simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across international and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with external legal counsels, regulatory authorities or industry associations is considered an advantage.
  • English and German at C1 level.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with compliance management or regulatory tracking tools is considered an advantage.
