About the Role

The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring for a Gymnastics Instructor. This position supports the Y's mission of strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility by providing leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in gymnastics classes. The role emphasizes creating a safe and positive atmosphere that respects all individuals and ensures safety according to YMCA policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, instruction, and motivation for students in gymnastics classes.
  • Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals.
  • Promotes safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 16 years old; must be able to furnish working papers.
  • 3+ years gymnastics participation experience.
  • Current CPR PRO & First Aid certifications.
  • Child abuse prevention training annually.
  • Ability to remain standing and moving for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, standing, walking, running, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
  • Ability to lift equipment, up to 40 pounds.
