About the Role

Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is seeking a Commissionaire to join their growing team. This role is crucial for ensuring client and employee loyalty and enhancing the organization's success through dedicated service.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring access control is followed and client property is secured, escorting visitors as required.
• Maintaining positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, visitors and clients.
• Staying back over the regular hours till the last client exits the premises.
• Maintaining high standards of personal appearance and deportment.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with individuals and groups to ensure smooth operations.
• Good Radio communication.
• Responding to alarms and utilization of alarm panels.
• Completing daily logs and written reports as necessary.
• Performing crowd control using de-escalation techniques.
• Ability to stand outdoors if required.
• Making sure the Reception desk is always monitored.
• Performing other duties as may be required by the client or site supervisor.

Requirements

• Must hold a Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Valid WSIB accredited First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Must be able to obtain a Level II (Secret) Clearance (resident in Canada 10 years or longer, clean record, clean credit history).
• Ability to stand/sit for a longer period of time.
• Good communication and crowd controlling skills needed.
• Strong customer service/administrative skills.
• Highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with minimal supervision, ability to multitask.
• Professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.
