About the Role
Join the team helping to maintain one of London's newest and most exciting destinations. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment, leading frontline cleaning teams and ensuring exceptional service standards are delivered across the development. This is a unique opportunity to join a flagship London mobilisation from day one, helping to establish standards, culture and service excellence across a brand-new development.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise and motivate the cleaning team to deliver consistently high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service across the development.
- Organise staff rotas and daily deployment, arranging cover for sickness, holidays and other absences to maintain operational continuity.
- Carry out cleaning duties and support the team as required, ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standard.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality audits, providing guidance and support to ensure service standards are consistently achieved.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety, COSHH, and site-specific procedures.
- Respond to customer requests, complaints and operational issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor cleaning equipment, consumables and stock levels, reporting any faults, shortages or maintenance requirements.
- Complete all required records, audits and compliance documentation accurately, supporting the smooth operation of the cleaning service.
- Work closely with Security, Maintenance and Management teams to support site operations and service excellence.
- Complete any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Requirements
- Previous cleaning, facilities or soft services supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of cleaning standards and methods.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and COSHH requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to motivate, develop and manage teams effectively.
- Experience conducting inspections, audits and quality checks.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Customer-focused approach and confidence managing complaints professionally.
- Flexible approach to working hours including weekends.
