About the Role
As a Concierge Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc. What matters most in a role like this is your ability to engage with people easily and make them feel confident in your ability to help them.
Responsibilities
- Perform customer service duties including welcoming, checking identification, and guiding visitors.
- Manage access control.
- Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks.
- Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Perform computer tasks.
- Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
- Answer questions in person or by phone.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Hold a valid Ontario security license.
- WSIB approved first aid certification.
- Minimum 1 year of security experience.
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
