About the Role

We are seeking a Product Manager for our enterprise open banking product team. This person will partner with internal product and business teams to leverage open banking in various use cases, and with engineering teams to define requirements and understand technical architecture for our enterprise platform and scalable solutions. This role is an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Uses data to build insights on product or platform requirements consistent with the shared vision for the product.
• Gathers insights from the customer experience and customer needs to input to product requirements.
• Analyzes research, market analysis and usability studies to support data-driven decision making.
• Monitors product profitability measures, including budget.
• Leads sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives to drive execution.
• Interfaces with product and technology leadership as needed.
• Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers to identify new opportunities.
• Provides inputs to help shape the strategy and roadmap for open banking at PayPal.
• Drives execution of the open banking roadmap initiatives under responsibility and becomes the subject matter expert.
• Works closely with open banking use case teams to understand their needs and how open banking can deliver value.
• Develops a strong technical understanding of initiatives, ensuring technical execution meets product requirements and communicating technical elements to others.
• Creates robust documentation for each initiative, stating the reasons, anticipated benefits, success metrics, summary technical details, and key stakeholders.
• Practices strong communication, both verbal and written, including high-level summaries and detailed explanations.

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
